5th century. Saint Cettin was consecrated by Saint Patrick as an auxiliary bishop. Some authorities distinguish Cethagh and Cettin, but they appear to be the same person. His shrine at Oran was a pilgrimage centre for 13 centuries (Benedictines, Montague).
