Died c. 690. Saint Huna was a monk-priest of Ely under
Saint Etheldreda (f.d. June 23),
whom he assisted in her last moments and buried. Soon
afterwards, he retired to a hermitage at Huneya in the Fens, where he
died. His relics were translated to Thorney Abbey, where they were
venerated from at least the 11th century
(Benedictines,
Farmer).
